What are Microplastics?

So basically Microplastics Are microscopic its of plastic (Usually less than 5mm in length)

They are very harmful to animals and most of all aquatic life

they (Usually ) have a lot of harmful chemicals that can spread many diseases

A recent study shows that more than 3% of the blood samples tested Hap PET( a type of plastic) in them

PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a common plastic from which most drinking bottles are made. they consist of a polymer of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. This finding was very shocking because if the ethylene glycol reacts with vital organs it can cause serious diseases or even death.

But it appears Prof. Galloway Was not suprised
